Water (working title)

(water machine, hydrophone, microcontroller, multi-channel loudspeaker)

This work is a pre-programmed digital-mechanical composition that opens up a wide range of interpretation and illustrates that the sound of water is a musical construct. Music as a physical structure; an automaton that produces sounds in a completely organized way. Svetlana Maraš (* 1985 Belgrade) is a composer and sound artist; she works in the intermediate area of experimental music and sound art. She writes music for ensembles, creates interactive sound installations and plays live electronic music: playful and playful tracks, finely eavesdropped and peppered with musical-experimental leaps of thought. Her long-term work "Armoniapolis" - a global catalog of sounding places - will be continued at Hochmoor. Her works have been performed at venues such as the CTM Berlin, the International Music Institute Darmstadt and the Onassis Cultural Center Athens.
