Gais is beautiful

Georg Breinschmid is one of the leading Austrian jazz musicians on the international stage and one of the outstanding double bass players of our time. His unorthodox compositions at the interface between jazz, classical music and Viennese song are regarded as one of the most interesting developments in contemporary music. Improvisation is at the heart of his work. At Klang Moor Schopfe he will present an installative composition for the first time. Theresa Pewal is a photographer and musician and works as a portrait and artist photographer in Vienna. She accompanied Georg Breinschmid with her camera during the field research for his composition through the village of Gais.
