Ludwig Berger is a sound artist and composer. At home in Milan and Zurich, the music, art and literature graduate creates electro-acoustic compositions between urban landscapes, Japanese gardens and alpine glaciers. As a research assistant at the Institute of Landscape Architecture at ETH Zurich, he is also interested in their sonic dimensions. Berger runs the Vertical Music label, is co-founder of Studio for Sonic Architecture and winner of the Prix Ars Electronica.
