The musician and visual artist Asi Föcker (*1974) now lives in St. Gallen after many years in Berlin. Artistically, she works in the fields of installation, object performance, music and photography. In her work, she experiments with light, air, movement, space and sound, which she combines in her installations to create poetic, site-specific interventions. Her starting point is everyday objects and materials, which she examines for their properties. Föcker is interested in the fragile, temporary state that can arise in the movement of objects: the appearance of something hidden.
