Shallow Water
The sound artist Rudy Decelière (*1979 in France) lives and works in Geneva. His reduced works are characterized by spatial components, found soundscapes and his fascination with the laws of electromagnetics. Using natural materials such as leaves or blades of grass, copper wire, magnets and electronic control elements, he creates filigree, moving installations in which the sounds and forces of nature appear and prove to be visible and audible phenomena of great poetry. The installation "Shallow Water", which he is showing at the festival, imitates the movement of dried leaves when raindrops fall on them in a highly surprising way. Decelière is concerned with the idea of sound through movement.
