Norient: 5 videos from

Norient is an audiovisual gallery and a (practice) community for the sound of the world. For its series "5 Video-Clips from", which has been running since 2012, Norient invites artists, authors and researchers to curate a playlist of music videos from their country of residence. For KLANG MOOR SCHOPFE, Norient has created three medleys of music videos from this series. Each medley consists of 8 to 10 music videos and lasts an average of 30 minutes. The medleys will be shown in a loop on alternating days at the festival.

Ioana Vreme Moser (RO/D): Thermofrunzus

Open sound workshop for adults and children (13:30 to 16:30). Together with the artist, a loudspeaker is built using simple electronic components and natural materials such as leaves and grasses, and the world of sound is explored. After the workshop, the self-built loudspeakers will be presented.

Rahel Kraft & Tomoko Hojo (CH/JP): Scots-Emmas

Rahel Kraft and Tomoko Hojo explore the history of Gais as a former whey spa in their installation, which they are showing at the Museum Gais. As a link between the village and the festival site, the two artists are also out and about every day as "Schotten-Emmas" on the hiking trails between the museum and the moor, dispensing "sound and whey" and sometimes also "sound and smoke". Ludwig Berger: Forest Sound Walk

Landscape sound researcher Ludwig Berger invites you on a forest sound walk: with the help of sensitive microphones and wireless headphones, participants can listen into the hidden acoustic world of plants and the forest floor. The diverse sound colors and the sound horizon of the forest are explored in accompanying listening exercises.

Zeughaus Teufen: San Keller (CH): Rest joke hike

Six cultural institutions in Eastern Switzerland that are associated with the KLANG MOOR SCHOPFE festival have been given a free pass to curate an event in the supporting program and thus provide an insight into their preferences and activities.
The Zeughaus Teufen presents the artist San Keller as part of this series. San Keller is one of the best-known contemporary Swiss artists. His participatory performances and ephemeral actions are reminiscent of social experiments. He reflects critically, conceptually and playfully on the relationship between art and life.
