dieb13, born Dieter Kovačič in 1973, has been active as a composer, filmmaker, programmer of open source software and founder and operator of the experimental music internet platform klingt.org since the mid-1990s. He has made a name for himself as an improvisational musician and turntablist at hundreds of gigs. Releases on over thirty labels as a soloist and with formations of various sizes mark his artistic path. In addition, dieb13, who is also an outstanding photographer, creates audiovisual installations in which he brings together his diverse artistic means of expression.
