Adsum

Since 2016, artists Mirko Eremita (*1986), David Houncheringer (*1983), Valerio Spoletini (*1980) and Manuel Oberholzer (*1979) have been creating artworks under the name Encor Studio that challenge and change the public's perception. Using innovative materials and processes, Encor pushes the boundaries of traditional art. Using light and acoustics, the quartet creates multidimensional worlds that, like the properties of light, ultimately elude our understanding and invite viewers to engage with art in new and unexpected ways. The site-specific installation "Adsum" is a one-meter tall composition of glass, light, video, sound and movement. By capturing the viewer's gaze, eliminating all distractions and allowing them to immerse themselves in a world of light and sound, "Adsum" creates moments of pure presence and concentration on the present.
